Pathaan

The film was over two years in the making, with each action sequence pre-visualised elaborately before the actual shoot began.

The location where the train carrying Pathaan, and later Tiger, was entirely computer generated, as were shots of the complete train. The fist fights were shot on set, in physically built train compartments.

85% of Pathaan was aided and augmented by visual effects – over 3,500 shots were delivered, with over 33,000 individual visual effects ‘tasks’. More than 350 assets were created on the computer, including virtual sets, buildings in Dubai and Moscow, snow and ice, laboratories, vehicles, helicopters, planes, jetpacks, weapons, and other props.
